A widowed robotics expert channels the grief of losing his ten year-old son into creating ‘Robin’, a fully functioning robotic doll. It finally seems he has found someone to keep him company in his lofty mansion.
Following Aiden’s estranged nephew and fiance's unexpected return to the manor to patch up the family's rocky past before the big day, the loved-up pair are instantly creeped out by the lonely man’s staggeringly realistic creation. A series of terrifying events leave the young couple soon suspecting there's a more sinister side to Robin that even Aiden is aware of.
When the disturbing discovery of Aiden’s son’s hidden past of jealousy towards anyone that threatened his relationship with Aiden comes to light, they soon have enough reason to believe the doll somehow carries the hateful soul of the deceased child.
Despite the boy’s power source being removed in fear, Aiden's staff and other visitors to the house continue to disappear one-by-one. The pair are left with little doubt that the robotic doll is still somehow very much alive and more powerful than they could have ever imagined.
Will the terrified couple make it out of the manor alive, or will Robin succeed in doing whatever it takes to have his creator all to himself once more?
